I wanted to start off by sharing some of my background and how I ended up in this very perfect space at this very perfect time. I have always worked out and made it a priority in my life while I was raising my kids. I knew that in order to keep up with my active family that I would need to keep my physical and mental well-being up and one way I knew how to do that was exercise. In 2014 I walked into Crossfit Clayton and immediately fell in LOVE! I decided to become a Crossfit trainer in 2017 and I have loved every second! I made the decision last year to become and Certified Personal Trainer and nutrition coach and did so through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I went on to receive my Gut Health Consultant Certification as well.
Over the years of coaching, one of the most common complaints I have heard from female clients was having a "weak core". This issue was leading to, at the very least, urinary incontinence and lower back pain among a whole host of other issues. I decided to make it my priority to learn the best ways to prevent and reverse these issues from pregnancy to menopause and beyond and received my Pregnancy/Postpartum exercise specialist certification as well as my Core Confidence Specialist certification through Pelvienne Wellness.
This leads me to where I am today. The fire in my soul has been lit to offer workouts that truly train our bodies to work from core to extremity...the way all movement should be! Incorporating ideas from Pilates, Barre, yoga, bodybuilding and sculpting will ensure that we leave every session feeling stronger than when we walked in. Group sessions as well as one on one sessions will be offered to strengthen and rehab pelvic floor dysfunction such as diastasis recti and urinary incontinence. Personal training sessions will be tailored to any of your fitness goals! Let's work towards moving stronger and more confidently together!
